VWU Faculty Honored with Top Awards for Scholarship, Teaching, and Service

Professors Moskowitz, Kennedy, Wansink and Dobrin honored during Commencement Weekend

Shumadine Dean of the Batten Honors College)Virginia Wesleyan celebrated outstanding faculty achievement during its 2025 Commencement Weekend, recognizing exemplary contributions in scholarship, teaching, and service.

James Moskowitz, Batten Lecturer in Political Science, received the prestigious Jane and Frank Batten Distinguished Scholar Award during the Batten Honors College Capstone Convocation on Friday in the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Also recognized were , , and . They were recognized during the Spring Commencement in TowneBank Arena.
